Airspace closures and flight cancellations remain widespread. Large parts of the region, including Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE, have intermittently closed or restricted their airspace, forcing airlines to suspend or divert flights.
Airports and airlines are operating reduced or irregular services. Some carriers, including Emirates and Qatar Airways, have begun limited resumptions, but schedules remain volatile and subject to rapid change.
Governments have issued strong travel advisories. The U.S. and European authorities maintain “Do Not Fly” warnings for much of the region, while the UK advises against all or all‑but‑essential travel to several Middle Eastern states, including the UAE. Travellers already in affected areas are urged to follow local authority instructions and stay updated through official channels.
